The JH Patterns Brand Shoot in Brooklyn

A Year of Content in One Day

When Jonathan of JH Patterns came to us, his goal was clear: he needed imagery that could carry his brand forward not just for one launch, but for an entire year of content across his website and social platforms.

As a Brooklyn-based styling company rooted in creativity, bold vision, and intentional design, JH Patterns needed visuals that felt true to Jonathan’s voice while remaining versatile, elevated, and usable long-term. Our task was to build a shoot that didn’t just look good it worked hard.

Planning with Intention

Before we ever picked up our cameras, we worked closely with Jonathan to understand how he planned to use the images. Website hero images, Instagram content, promotional materials, and ongoing brand storytelling all needed to live cohesively together while still offering variety.

To make that possible, we structured the day with strategy at the forefront:

  • Two Brooklyn studio locations to create distinct visual environments

  • Multiple styled looks to maximize variety without feeling repetitive

  • A clear content roadmap to ensure every setup had a purpose

The result? A shoot designed to deliver a year’s worth of content in just 6–8 hours.

Two Studios, Endless Range

By shooting in two different studios, we were able to create contrast while maintaining brand consistency. One space offered clean, minimal backdrops that highlighted structure, silhouette, and styling details. The second allowed for a more textured, editorial feel — adding depth, mood, and dimension to the final gallery.

This approach gave Jonathan a library of imagery that could be rotated seasonally, repurposed across platforms, and used for both polished campaigns and everyday brand presence.

Collaboration at the Core

What made this shoot especially successful was the collaborative energy throughout the day. Jonathan’s creative direction paired seamlessly with our approach to composition, movement, and storytelling. With three models and an ever-evolving lineup of looks, the day felt fluid, efficient, and creatively energized.

Rather than rushing through setups, we focused on intentional pacing allowing space for ideas to evolve while still staying aligned with the larger content goals.

Creating Content That Lasts

At The Orion Archives, we believe brand photography should do more than fill a feed. It should support growth, clarify identity, and make showing up online feel easier — not overwhelming.

For JH Patterns, this meant delivering a gallery that was:

  • Cohesive, but not repetitive

  • Editorial, yet accessible

  • Strategic, while still expressive

Each image was created with longevity in mind, ensuring Jonathan could confidently use this content throughout the year without it feeling dated or disconnected.

The Final Result

The final gallery reflects JH Patterns exactly as it is: bold, thoughtful, and creatively driven. From sharp styling details to quiet, in-between moments, the imagery tells a story of a brand grounded in vision and execution.

We’re honored to have collaborated with Jonathan on his first official brand shoot and excited to see how this content continues to live and evolve across his platforms.

If you’re a founder or creative looking to build a visual library that truly supports your brand, we’d love to help you do the same intentionally, efficiently, and with care.
